Abhishek Bachchan's Jhoom Barabar Jhoom

The movie trailer of Abhishek Bachchan's Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was shown during the movie Ta Ra Rum Pum. This is the upcoming movie directed by Sathiya and Bunty aur Babli's Shaad Ali. Considering the banner, the stars and the director associated with the movie there are obviously very high hopes with the movie. It's produced by Yash Raj Films and stars Bobby Deol, Preity Zinta and Lara Dutta in addition to Abhishek. The movie has Amitabh and SRK in special appearances with Big B in a totally new avatar.
However I didn't think the trailer was that impressive at all. Abhishek seemed to be trying a bit too hard. I am sure there'll be loads of style, glamour and overdose of UK that we all NRI's supposedly like. This could be the first movie of Abhishek after his wedding, so we'll wait and see whether Aishwarya marrying that tree had positive, negative or NO effect at all on junior B's career. (I'm just kidding, I love the Bachchans). The movie will release on 15th June 2007.

Jhoom Barabar Jhoom

Jhoom Barabar Jhoom is a forthcoming Bollywood film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Lara Dutta and Preity Zinta in lead roles. It is directed by Shaad Ali who earlier directed the 2005 hit Bunty Aur Babli. The film will be produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra under Yash Raj Films. Shooting began in the second half of 2006 in London and will include a shooting schedule in Paris, France . The film will release in May 2007. It was announced in September 2006 that the Chelsea football team will be part of the film.
